General gardening guidance

Patch provides broad, educational planting guidance for Australian climate zones. Local weather, altitude, microclimate, soil, variety and supplier instructions may change the best planting time. Check plant labels, seed packets and local advice before relying on a recommendation.

No guarantee

Gardening results vary. Patch does not guarantee germination, plant health, harvest, flowering, suitability, safety or financial outcomes. You remain responsible for plant selection, chemical use, allergies, toxicity, pets, children and local biosecurity requirements.

Email guides and reminders

One-off planting-guide emails are sent only when requested. Monthly reminders are optional, require a separate confirmation and can be unsubscribed from any edition. Delivery timing may vary because of outages or email-provider filtering.

Feedback

You may send suggestions or plant requests through the feedback form. Do not send confidential, unlawful or abusive material. Patch may use general suggestions to improve the service but will not publish your email address.

Advertising and external links

Patch may display advertising and link to third-party websites. An advertisement or link is not an endorsement, and third parties are responsible for their own products, content and privacy practices.

Changes

The site, calendars and these terms may be updated as Patch develops. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
